Road haulage services
The Potter Group maintains a centrally managed fleet of artic and rigid vehicles to provide customers with a flexible and cost effective road freight and logistics distribution service, regionally and nationally. They are supported where required by a number of selected, specialist road distribution subcontractors working alongside the company's own fleet.
The Group has invested in a modern fleet of tractor units built around the high-performance Mercedes 6 X 2 Actros 44 tonne tractor units. Operating with intermodal and curtain-sided container trailers, the fleet is ideally equipped for short haul services, trunking and connecting with international road and rail freight distribution centres and ports.
Working closely with partner companies such as Clarke Transport, a specialist in hazardous product and chemical distribution, the Group is well placed to handle any task from a single overnight pallet delivery to regular, high volume transport projects.
