Paper warehousing and distribution
The Potter Group's three inland rail-connected distribution centres in Yorkshire, Merseyside and Cambridgeshire operate specialist equipment to unload, handle and store paper products safely and efficiently. With around 65,000m2 (700,000ft2) of rail connected storage space, the company has historically handled paper imports from Sweden, Finland, France, Germany and Switzerland.
The centres are equipped to handle paper product storage in reel form or palletised, using specialist handling equipment including JCB Teletrucks, Swedish Semax fork lift trucks and LPG powered lift trucks with clamps. Paper stocks are stored on pallets or block-stacked, readily accessible for fast delivery to printers and publishers who routinely expect to call of materials and short notice.
