Ely centre staff support local hospices
Ely centre staff presented Karen Newton, Corporate Fundraiser for East Anglia's Children's Hospices - EACH - a cheque for £660 from their recent fund raising campaign.
EACH supports families and cares for children and young people with life-threatening conditions across the region. To provide care and support to families either in families’ own homes, in hospital or at one of the charity’s hospices they need to raise money to able these vital services to happen and this year alone needs £4 million in donations.
Natalie Wilkinson, Ely Operations Manager said: “Supporting local good causes is massively important to Potter Group and EACH was our nominated charity for 2010-11. Our 30 colleagues took part in a number of different activities to raise money, which has been generously backed by the company pound for pound.”
