Convenience food maker finds Potter Group more convenient than ever
One of the UK’s leading convenience food companies, Greencore Grocery, has virtually doubled its use of The Potter Group’s Selby distribution centre. For more than five years the company - which manufactures of a range of cooking and table sauces, pickles and dressings, sold through leading UK and continental Europe retailers – has used Selby to store raw ingredients and finished products for its nearby factory.
With increasing demand and full confidence in The Potter Group’s proven track record in dispatching goods to meet the client’s production schedules, the company has now significantly expanded its usage of Selby to store an additional 8,000 pallets. The Potter Group is also providing transport to and from the factory and to leading supermarket distribution centres.
One of five Potter Group centres in the country, Selby has 46,500m² (490,000ft²) of high quality storage space including dedicated Food Grade standard units, fully equipped with modern materials handling equipment and the latest IT stock management systems.
