Chemical storage and distribution
Potter Group distribution centres in the West Midlands, Yorkshire and on Merseyside are fully equipped for chemicals and hazardous materials storage and distribution.
With more than 20 years' experience in the sector, Droitwich, Worcestershire, is located on a secure, 38-acre rural complex with 30,000 m2 (286,000 ft2) of shared user chemical warehousing. Ripon in North Yorkshire boasts 42,000 m2 (456,000 ft2) of covered warehousing. Knowsley, located on Merseyside's giant Knowsley Industrial Park, houses a high specification 15,500m2 (165,000 ft2) rail-connected warehouse with secure, under-cover loading and off loading facilities.
The centres currently handle a wide range of flammable, toxic, corrosive and temperature-sensitive materials such as paint, agricultural chemicals and chlorine. Clients in this sector include Akzo Nobel, Atotech, Total UK and Bayer.
COMAH standard warehousing
Specialised facilities include bunded, protected and enclosed zones for flammable products. Services include break bulk, order picking, packaging and re-packaging, supported by the latest warehouse management and distribution systems.
The Group's own fleet of vehicles operates locally and nationally, providing multi-drop and time sensitive hazardous product distribution. For exporters the company provides export planning, documentation and freight forwarding services for dangerous goods in line with ADR, IATA and IMDG requirements.

The Potter Group is a long-standing member of the Chemical Business Association, ensuring that the company operates to the highest standards and meets current UK and European requirements. They include REACH and the CBA's commitment to Responsible Care through the European Single Assessment Document (ESAD) for independent assessment.
