The Potter Group has a long history of storing and distributing a wide range of products and materials for the construction sector. From cable and bricks in the early days, the Group has extended its expertise and materials handling facilities to handle items such as timber and decorative laminates, concrete fencing and pre-stressed products, and chemicals including concrete admixtures, mortars, sealants, adhesives, damping and reinforcing materials, industrial flooring and sealing products.

One of the Group’s longest standing contracts involves the import, storage and distribution of decorative surfacing materials for laminates, worktops, flooring and panel products, which require extra care in handling and storage to maintain quality throughout the supply chain.

The Group also has specially designated centres that are fully equipped and accredited to handle the many chemical products now widely used in the building industry. Its rail connected centres in the South East, North West and North East are well placed and equipped to receive raw or finished materials in bulk, either UK manufactured, as deep sea imports or via the Channel Tunnel.
